This page explains, in plain English, what information this website collects, why, and how it is handled.
We collect the information submitted by parents or guardians solely to arrange the parent call, provide lessons, manage payments, and deliver the agreed tutoring service. Information is not sold or used for unrelated marketing. Please do not submit medical records or sensitive identification documents through this website. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact the business email in the footer.
What information is collected
When you book a parent call, the questionnaire collects: your name, WhatsApp number and email address; your child's first name or initial (optional — share only what you are comfortable with); your child's school year level and school type; four short ratings of how learning feels (such as confidence with reading); the one option that best describes what you are looking for; any everyday difficulties you choose to tick (such as focus or exam nerves); and a paragraph you write in your own words.
The questionnaire never asks for a diagnosis, a condition, medication, medical or therapy history, or a date of birth — for anyone in your family. Your written paragraph is stored exactly as you wrote it and is read personally by the teacher; it is never automatically analysed, scanned or classified. No child email address or phone number is collected.
When you send a message through the contact form, we collect your name, WhatsApp number, email address, your child's school year and your note. When you book a time, Cal.com processes the booking details. When you pay, Stripe or FPS processes the payment; this website does not store card or bank details.
We also record basic, non-identifying usage events (such as a page view or a button click) through a small first-party analytics script. This does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
Why it is collected
The enquiry information is used to understand what you are looking for, decide honestly whether English tutoring is the right support, and arrange a parent call. Usage events help us understand which parts of the site are useful.
Questionnaire and message handling
Questionnaires and messages are processed by a secure server. Where a delivery provider is configured, they are forwarded so the teacher can respond — the parent's confirmation email includes a copy of their own questionnaire answers. They are not used for marketing lists and are not sold.
If your answers say you may be looking for support beyond English tutoring, we keep a private note on the enquiry — "seeking support beyond tutoring" — so the teacher can respond helpfully. It describes the enquiry, never your child, and it is not shared with anyone outside the teacher's own records.
Lesson administration
If your child becomes a student, your contact details and lesson information are used to schedule appointments, share feedback and administer tuition.
Payments
Lesson blocks are paid in advance by FPS, directly to the teacher. The teacher issues a receipt for every payment. This website does not collect or store card or bank details.
Analytics
Analytics is first-party and privacy-conscious: no advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking and no cookies. Events are kept to page views and the key actions on this site.
Retention
Enquiry information is kept only as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, to administer lessons. If your child becomes a student, lesson and payment records are kept for the duration of the tutoring relationship and then for the seven-year recordkeeping period that applies to business records in Hong Kong, after which they are deleted. You can ask for your information to be corrected or deleted at any time.
Access, correction and deletion
To access, correct or delete information we hold about you, contact the teacher using the email address shown on this site.
Your data is not sold
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Children's information
This site is intended to be used by parents and legal guardians on behalf of children. Please do not submit a child's identification documents or sensitive personal information through the website.
Third-party service providers
The website is hosted on a standard hosting platform. If enquiry notifications are configured, they may pass through a third-party delivery service (such as an automation or email provider).
