Educational nature of the service

This is an educational tutoring service focused on primary English. It does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, occupational-therapy, speech-therapy or other clinical diagnosis or treatment.

No guaranteed outcomes

Tutoring is provided with care and structure, but specific grades, school admissions or other academic outcomes are not guaranteed.

Lessons

Lessons are 60 minutes with the same teacher each week, and take place at home or at a nearby learning space — the same price applies either way. The venue is confirmed when a family starts. Materials — a workbook and journal, a folder and small rewards — are provided for every child.

Pricing and payment

The First Session (a structured 60-minute session with a parent debrief and a one-page learning focus) is HK$650. Pay-as-you-go lessons are HK$650 each, subject to open slots, with no reserved weekly time. The Four-Session Foundation is HK$2,480 (HK$620 per lesson) and the Eight-Session Progress is HK$4,800 (HK$600 per lesson); both include a reserved weekly time. Blocks are prepaid by FPS, and a receipt is provided for every payment.

Capacity: 4 family places are open through December 31, 2026; after that, the teacher reassesses capacity. Payment is arranged only after a family is accepted following the introduction call.

Weekly lessons

Families on a lesson block book their weekly lesson flexibly, around school and ECAs, within the teacher's published availability. The learning focus is reviewed and updated as your child progresses, with a parent update after every lesson and a progress snapshot after each four-lesson block.

Cancellation and rescheduling

At least 24 hours' notice is required to reschedule a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are normally charged, except in genuine emergencies. Lessons cancelled by the teacher are rescheduled or credited in full. Lessons begin and finish at the booked time, including where a student arrives late.

Parent or responsible adult presence

A parent or responsible adult should remain on the premises and be reachable during each lesson. This supports both learning and safeguarding.

Appropriate teaching environment

A quiet, comfortable space with a table and reasonable room to work helps the lesson run well. Distractions should be kept to a minimum.

Safeguarding boundaries

Communication about lessons is conducted through the parent or guardian. The teacher does not provide childcare or supervise unrelated children, and does not provide medical treatment or diagnostic services.

Ending the tutoring relationship

Either party may end the tutoring relationship with reasonable notice. Any lessons already paid for but not yet delivered will be handled fairly in line with these terms.

Changes to schedule or rates

Any change to the schedule or rates is communicated with reasonable notice before it affects a confirmed block.
